Pere Lacomba Seguf graduated in Fine Arts with a specialisation in Design from the University of Barcelona. He has lived in Bar¬ celona and England, and he has been living and working in Palma since 1998. He has created his own design studio (www.artilus. com) where he carries out projects involving corporate, publishing and illustration, animation, website and jewellery design while continuing his artistic activities which are mainly centred on painting. His works have been exhibited in Barcelona (Sala Golferichs, 1994), Mataro (La Casa del Llimoner, 1996), Madrid (The Alcolea Gallery, 1994), Inca (The Cunium Gallery, 2000 and 2006). Sig¬ nificant works include his mural for the Can Xiquet Technological Centre (St. Coloma de Gramanet, 1995). He considers art to be a continual learning process inwhich all disciplines are brought together, and relate with other in order to enrich the creative process. His clearly figurative work reflects this vital learning process and results in an individual vision of the world around us. He has received various awards, among which is the Youth Photography Award (awarded by the Catalan Government in 1995). He currently works with large-scale projects and in digital animation.
