Ada Pullini Brown lives and works In the Los Angeles area. Ms. Brown earned her B.A. in Art, at Queens College of the City University of New York. She attended the Sarah Lawrence College School of the Arts, in Lacoste, France, and was awarded an M.F.A. as a Teaching Fellow at University of Houston.
Ms. Brown has been an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center. Her work has been exhibited and collected in the United States, South Africa, Mexico, Italy, France, Germany, and Japan. Locally her work has been seen at the Schomberg Gallery in Bergamot Station, the Riverside Art Museum, Rancho Santiago College, and the Sabina Lee Gallery
She is an Associate Professor of Art at Rio Hondo College and, since 1995, has been the Director of ArTravel the Brentwood Art Center Summer Abroad Program, bringing artists to study plein-air painting with her in Europe. Ada is married to the cinematographer and writer, Blain Brown. They currently share their lives with a furry gray cat.
