Antonio Amoros was born in Mallorca, Spain, in 1958. His first studies were made with painter and sculptor Gabriel Matas. He stud¬ ied at the School of Arts and Artistic Trades of Palma de Mallorca and at the Altair Academy of Art in Palma. He studied Mallorcan Impressionism with the painter Gabriel Abad.
