(1966, Puerto de Soller. Mallorca)
He presented his first individual exhibition in Palma in 1991 at the Uuch-Fluxa gallery and, since then, his pictorial quest has been indefatigable as he has not stopped exhibiting up
‘to the present day: Paris (Espace Carte Jeunes 1992; Galena Yvonamor Palix 1998 and 2002; Duo gallery 2004 ; Agata Ruiz de la Prada gallery 2000), Palma (Ferran Cano 98, 99, 01, 03, 05; Casal Solleric 2002; Sa Quartera (Inca 1999); Son Tugores (Alaro 2004); Seville (Cavecanem gallery 2006), Cadiz (Benot gallery 2006), Zaragoza, Portugal, etc. He has also taken part in numerous collective exhibitions and in¬ ternational contemporary art fairs: Art Miami, Fiac, Riparte, Arco, Art Cologne, Arteba and Art Chicago.
His painting is eclectic, applying collage to everyday elements that decontextualise it, linking his work to art trends such as Dadaism, pop or Bauhaus. The fact that he realises his art in objects ranging from suitcases, table tennis tables, shoes, pictures or toys allows him to perfect and evolve his style under the same common denominator: kitsch prints, classical landscapes and renaissance portraits with motifs from the world of pop that, contrasted, are elevated to the category of icons. In 2007 he inaugurated his first individual exhibition in Hong Kong under the title Pet atplayat the Sofia Gaspar gallery and also exhibited in Madrid at the Blanca Soto gallery. This September 2008 he will again exhibit in the Barcelona area of the Ferran Cano gallery.
